Non-Degree

Prospective students interested in our online MS in gerontology, MS in medical physiology and aging or aging and geriatric practice certificate programs have the opportunity to enroll in courses as a non-degree seeking student. Non-degree seeking students can enroll in up to 6 credit hours (two courses) in total. This is an excellent opportunity to explore a particular area of interest while transitioning into an online learning environment.

As a non-degree seeking student, you’ll have the opportunity to enroll in the same courses as our master’s degree and graduate certificate students without the need to commit to a graduate program. No clinical experience is required to apply and there is no application fee. Our graduate courses are:

  • Entirely online and asynchronous.
  • Led by experts in the field of aging.
  • Updated regularly in response to trends and research findings.
  • Competitively priced, regardless of a student’s location.

As a non-degree seeking student, you’ll be able to transfer credits toward the Master of Science in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Gerontology, the Master of Science in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Medical Physiology and Aging or the Graduate Certificate in Aging and Geriatric Practice, as long as you are accepted and earn a “B” or higher.
